We are delighted to announce that over the last few weeks a number of our clients have appeared in the national press – for all the right reasons! These clients have included: Ultromics, Adrian Hill and Perspectum Diagnostics. So we thought you would be interested in what they have been up to!
Ultromics – Ultromics has just received clearance from the US approvals body – the FDA – for its AI based platform – EchoGo. This platform enables the precision detection of heart failure. Approval from the FDA opens up an enormous market for the company which was only set up (with our help) in 2017.
Adrian Hill – Adrian is one of the Oxford academics who was responsible for setting up Vaccitech (the company behind the development of the “Oxford” Astra-Zeneca Covid vaccine). He has long been involved in the working on trying to develop an effective vaccine against malaria and is expecting to report exciting results from a recent phase III clinical trial very shortly. The Times published an article in January exploring the need for such a vaccine in Africa and the way in which Adrian and his team have been working on this.
Perspectum Diagnostics – Perspectum have just announced that it has raised $36 million in the first close of its Series C fundraise. The company develops medical imaging tools to improve the diagnosis of metabolic diseases and cancer, with its flagship tool – Livermultiscan, assisting in the assessment and monitoring of chronic liver disease.
